Slow Cooker Pulled Pork




Yield 10 serving

An EASY 6 ingredient slow cooker pulled pork recipe! It is well loved and tender + juicy. 



  1. Dice the pork shoulder into large pieces and season liberally with kosher salt and pepper. Brown each side on medium- high heat for 2-3 mins in 1 tbsp of oil. Remove.
  2. Season the seared pork with 1 tbsp cumin, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tsp chipotle powder, 1 tsp garlic powder.
  3. In the bottom of the slow cooker, add the 2 yellow onions and 8 cloves of garlic. Place the roast on top.
  4. Add the 1 C of chicken broth and 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar.
  5. Let cook for 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high. *all slow cookers behave differently. Check occasionally; the meat will start to fall apart.
