Lemon and Garlic Butter Shrimp (Whole30)

This shrimp will blow your mind! 7 ingredients, less than 10 minutes of cooking time and absolutely delicious!


1 Pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined 

2 tablespoons of ghee + 1 tablespoon of another cooking fat (i’m using a chili oil but you could use olive oil, avocado oil, etc)

Salt + pepper

1 teaspoon of parsley, chopped 

3 cloves of garlic, minced 

½ C Compliant chicken stock 

Juice of ½ a lemon



  1. Melt the 2 tablespoons of ghee and 1 tablespoon of the other cooking fat in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Cook till opaque. Approximately 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
  2. Turn the heat to low and add the minced garlic to the skillet. Saute for 1 minute. Stir in the chicken stock and lemon juice. Turn the heat up to medium and let simmer till reduced. Add the shrimp back to the skillet and toss till coated. 
  3. Garnish with parsley and enjoy!
