When we were looking for a home, I was definitely looking for a room that could house all of Joy’s toys (preferably with a door) and could also serve as an office space for me. I was selfishly looking for a playroom so I could move some of the toys out of our living room and kitchen!
The Custom ‘PLAY’ letters were done by my talented friend Angel of Paint Me Pretty Co!
I wanted a baby proof space with some color, storage bins, and a place for all her board books.
After scouring Pinterest, I came up with a few cost effective playroom ideas and am really pleased with the outcome.
The chairs and rug came from Ethan Allen. The navy ottomans are from Joss and Main.
The computer desk is from Pottery Barn. The chair from Joss and Main.
The Storage Cubes are from Ikea.
The striped storage bins were recently on clearance at Land of Nod.
The teepee is from Tnee’s Tpees.
The entire gallery wall was created at Hobby Lobby. Shoutout to their bimonthly 50% off frame sale!
Several items were sourced online or picked up on countless trips to Marshalls, Ross, Target, and Hobby Lobby.
I always joke that it’s the safest room in the house– completely baby proof. I can’t wait to see our kids play together (hopefully in harmony) in there one day. I’m sure the space will evolve overtime as the kids get older but I did my best to make the space timeless. I really wanted it to be a well used room.
