Jeff
Thank you Kansas City for making my family and I feel welcome these last four years. We created many memories here that we’ll never forget. Thank you to Coach Andy Reid, GM John Dorsey, Director of Player Personnel, Chris Ballard, and every other member of the scouting department, coaching department, the trainers, equipment staff, communications department and football operations staff. You gave your all to put this team in a position to win. Thank you to the Hunt family for giving me the opportunity to live out my dream. I didn’t know what to expect from the NFL or Kansas City when I was drafted but I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start my career. This organization is unbelievable and Chiefs fans should be proud to know that it’s run by one of the best families in football. I’ve grown so much as a person and player while here. The relationships I’ve developed over the last four years will not be lost. I’ll miss running out of the tunnel of Arrowhead as a Chief; that feeling of knowing that our fans were going to give their all just like we were. I’ll miss going to battle with my teammates— my brothers. We are truly a family and that’s the hardest part about moving on. I wish it could have turned out differently but it’s a part of the business. I’ll always have a special place in my heart for KC.
Thank You!!!

I can’t believe our time in Kansas City has come to an end.
We have been in Kansas City for 4 amazing years. We have celebrated many victories (and plenty of other occasions in between), mourned lost games, and made a few incredible friends along the way. It was a great start to Jeff’s career. We couldn’t really ask for more. What an amazing team, city, and group of guys.
We would like to thank every single person in the Chief’s Organization. From the Hunt family, to Coach Reid and Mrs. Reid, to BJ and Rahman handling some of the day to day. I am also really thankful for the Chiefs Women’s Organization. They gave me the opportunity to do great work in the Kansas City community with some very special ladies. I love that we were all there for the same causes and in the end, wanted nothing more than to see these guys— this team succeed.
As we move on to a new chapter of our lives in Houston, we had to take the time to express our appreciation for this entire community. There were always so many gracious fans, smiling faces, and helping hand. We are forever grateful. Can’t wait to come back and tell Joy all about her amazing birth city.
Love the Allen Family,
Marissa, Jeff, and Joy

It has been an honor and a pleasure to have the chance to watch you play and for they way you and Marissa showed so much love through the YMCA Challenger program with Jasyn. We haven’t had the heart to tell him you all were heading to Texas. God bless you all, you’ll never be forgotten.
