Our weekends revolve around food and football. It can be hard to stay on track on game day but it doesn’t have to be. My suggestion would be to bring your own dish + some to share because I guarantee they are going to want some too. If you are looking for a delicious new marinade to try, start here. This Whole30 Jerk Chicken Marinade is DELICIOUS. Toss everything in a food processor or blender and keep the extras in the fridge. I have used the marinade on a spatch-cocked chicken to be smoked, grilled, and roasted. This jerk marinade has a little kick to it so if necessary, tone down the pepper by using something a little more mild (i.e a serano or jalapeno pepper) or adding another softened date to balance everything out. I served mine with sweet plantains and braised cabbage (recipe coming Sunday!)
